dc2tog - \*Yo, insert hook in next st, yo & pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook\* x 2, yo, pul through all 3 loops on hook. hdc2tog - \*Yo, insert hook in next st, yo & pull up a loop\* x 2, yo, pullthrough all5 loops on hook.
Pattern Notes
\* Size can easily be altered by using a different yarn or different size hook. Starting with sole Rnd 1: Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in last ch, (working on opposite side) hdc in next 8 ch, 2 hdc in last ch, slst to 1st hdc. (22sts) Rnd 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts, slst to top of ch-2. (28sts) Rnd 3: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 9 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 6 sts, hdc in next 9 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts, slst to ch-2. (38sts) Unner Rnd 4: (working in back loops only) Ch 2, hdc in each st around, slst to ch-2. (38sts) Rnd 5: (working in both loops) Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, dc2tog 9 times, hdc in last 9 sts, slst to ch-2. Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, hdc2tog 5 times, hdc in last 8 sts, slst to ch-2. Rnd 7: Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, hdc2tog 3 times, hdc in last 7 sts, slst to ch-2. Fasten off. Cuff Row 1: (with toe facing you) Find centremost 2 sts at toe and attach yarn into 2nd of these sts. Ch 2, hdc around with last hdc being in the 1st of the centremost 2 sts. Row 2: Ch 2 turn, hdc in each st around, leaving ch-2 at the end of this rnd unworked. Row 3: Ch 1 turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each st around to last 2 sts, hdc2tog. Fasten off & weave in ends.
Finishing
Weave ribbon through round 7 of upper.
