CROWN
Round 1-4: work in rib 1/1 for 4 rounds. Decrease round: work SSK across (25 sts rem);: knit 3 rounds. Since the sts decrease drastically, switch to DPNs or use the Magic Loop technique. Next decrease round: k2tog across to last 3 sts, k3tog (12 sts rem). Cut yarn leaving a 6"- 8" tail. Thread tail on a tapestry needle and run twice through remaining live sts, pull tight to gather and fasten off inside. The hat is reversible and can be worn on both sides. You may want to add a pom-pon.
