by Tomeke 1. INTRODUCTION Gillis is a scarf with diamonds knitted in jersey and moss stitch. 2.MATERIAL · Needles 4 mm (US 6) · 5 skeins of 50 g of Drops Lima or equivalent

3. DIMENSIONS

Gauge is 21 stitches by 28 ranks to get 10 cm × 10 cm before blocking. Dimensions of the scarf after blocking is 24 cm by 180 cm.

4.PATTERN

Cast on 56 stitches with 4 mm needles and knit 10 cm of 2 × 2 ribs. On the next row, follow the grid and increase one stitch in the middle. Observe that rows 65 and 66 must be identified with rows 1 and 2. Repeat the grid 6 times, then decrease one stitch in the middle and knit 10 cm of 2 x 2 ribs. You can repeat the grid more than 6 times to get a longer scarf.

5. BLOCKING
