to make a longer scarf use another ball!
Techniques
turn: you are knitting all the stitches in the row, but adding extra rows (and volume) across the first stitches. When the pattern says turn, do just that. Swap the needles over.
Pattern
Cast on 30 stitches. Row 1. Knit all stitches Row 2. Knit 12, turn You will have 18 stitches on one needle and 12 on the other, knit back along the 12 stitches. You now have 30 stitches on one needle. Row 3. Knit 10, turn. Knit back along those 10 stitches. Row 4. Knit 8, turn. Knit back along those 8 stitches. Row 5. Knit 6, turn. Knit back along those 6 stitches. Row 6. Knit 4, turn. Knit back along those 4 stitches Row 7 Knit 30 across Repeat rows 2-7 until near the end of the ball. Ending on row 7. Cast off loosely Wash gently in Eucalan for 20 minutes or other wool wash. Remember and follow the ball band and wool wash instructions! Gently squeeze out excess water in a towel. Dry scarf flat.
