Note: Diagram shows initial 5 rnds only—first inc (rnds 18-25) adds one more dc and one more ch to rep (total 5 each), and second inc (rnds 26-33) adds another dc and ch to rep (total 6). To make cowl deeper, keep increasing dc's and ch's accordingly (i.e., 7 dc & 7 ch, 8 dc & 8 ch, etc.)

Foundation: Ch 144 (152, 160) and without twisting ch, join with sl st in first ch to form ring.
