Materials:
H (5.00mm) hook Worsted weight cotton yarn (l used Peaches & Creme) Yarn needle for sewing in ends
Abbreviations:
ch-chain Slst-slip stitch dc-double crochet hdc-half double crochet hdc2tog-half double crochet decrease Gauge: See round 3 for measurements Round 1 - Create a magic loop (or ch 4 and join to create a loop), ch 3, 7 dc, join to top of ch 3, pull tail tight toclose Round 2 - Ch 2, hdc in same, ch 1, (2 hdc in next, ch 1), repeat () 5 times. Slst to top of ch2. {7 sets} Round 3 - Slst to a ch 1 space from previous round, ch 2, hdc in same, ch1, 2hdc, ch1, (2hdc, ch1, 2hdc, ch1 in next ch1 space from rnd 2), repeat 5 times. Slst to top of ch2. At this point it should measure 3" across. Round 4 - Slst to ch 1 space from previous round, ch2, hdc in same, 2hdc in each ch1 space around. Slst to top of ch2. {14 sets} Round 5 - Slst to space from previous round, ch2, hdc in same, 2 hdc in between each set from previous round. Slst to top of ch2 Round 13 - Slst to ch 1 space from previous round, ch 2, hdc in same, (hdc2tog in next space, 2hdc in next) repeat to end. Slst to top of ch2. Finish off and weave in ends.
