Materials
A minimum of 65 yds of size 5 Bulky yarn (we used 1 skein of Pagewood Farm's Enchanted Bouquet) US 11 DPN's (double pointed needles) Tapestry Needle & optional locking stitch marker Gauge: 10 sts x 16 rows per 4" in stockinette (2.5sts per 1")
Pattern
Note: To place a flower with Enchanted Bouquet yarn, bring yarn in front & slide flower as close to the bottom of the right needle as possible, purl the next stitch. This will keep the flower on the RS of work. Place flowers wherever you want them throughout the pattern! Cast on 30 sts, join in the round. (10 sts per DPN) Rows 1 & 2: \*K1, P1, repeat from \*. Knit 14 rows. Decrease rnd: \*K4, K2tog, repeat from \*. Knit 4 rows. Decrease rnd: \*K3, K2tog, repeat from \*. Knit 4 rows. Decrease rnd: \*K2, K2tog, repeat from \*. Knit 4 rows. Decrease rnd: \*K1, K2tog, repeat from \*. Knit 4 rows. Decrease rnd: \*K2tog, repeat from \* (5 sts left) Slide all sts to 1 DPN & place marker on last row. Work 5st icord for 2" from marker. Decrease rnd: K1, K2tog, K2. Move marker to last row & work 4st icord for 2" from marker. Decrease rnd: K1, K2tog, K1. Move marker to last row & work 3st icord for 16" from marker or until you have reached desired length. Bind off, make & attach pom pom, weave in ends. Icord = Do not turn your work. With right side still facing you, slide the sts to the right needle tip. With the yarn coming from the LAsT st in the row instead of the first, bring the yarn across the back of your work and knit the sts again.
