INSTRUCTIONS
Using A, CO 80 sts. Place marker and join to work in the rnd being careful not to twist sts. In the following row, if purling through the back loop feels too tedious, you can substitute a regular purl stitch. Rnd 1: (K1tbl, p1tbl) to end of rnd. Repeat last rnd until work measures approximately 8.5"/ 22cm.Break color A. Next 12 Rnds: Using B, k all sts. Next Rnd: K2tog to end of rnd. 40 sts. Next Rnd: K all sts. Next Rnd: K2tog to end of rnd. 20 sts. Next Rnd: K all sts. Next Rnd: K2tog to end of rnd. 10 sts.
FINISHING
Break yarn and pull strand through the last 10 sts. Weave in ends. Pom Pom It! Make a pom pom and attach it to the top of the hat. I used chunky handspun leftovers for an ultra fluffy pom pom.
