Mini Hot Dog Cat Toy

I made this little hot dog to be a toy for my Grandpa's cat, but it is so cute anyone would love it! This cute little hot dog measures about 3 inches in length, and 1 1/2 inches tall You will need... size D hook (3.25mm) Light Brown Yarn Soft White Yarn Burgundy Yarn stuffing cat nip (optional) yarn needle
Outside of the Bun (make 2)
using light brown yarn ch 11 Round 1\~ sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 8 sts, 3 sc in the last st (12 sc) Now you will need to sc along the backside of the foundation ch. Sc in the next 8 sts, 3 sc in the last (23 sc around) Round 2\~ inc in the first st, sc in the next 8 sts, inc in next, sc, inc in next, sc in the next 8 sts, inc in next, sc in last 2 (27 sc around) Round 3\~ inc in the first st, sc in the next 9 sts, 2sc in next, sc in the next 2, 2 sc in the next, sc in the next 10 sts, 2sc in next, sc in the last 2 (31 sc around) Round 4\~ sc around (31 sc around) fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing
Inside of Bun (make 2)
using white yarn ch 11 Round 1\~ sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 8 sts, 3 sc in the last st (12 sc) Now you will need to sc along the backside of the foundation ch. Sc in the next 8 sts, 3 sc in the last (23 sc around) Round 2\~ 2 sc in the first st, sc in the next 8 sts, 2 sc in next, sc, 2 sc in next, sc in the next 9 sts, 2 sc in next, sc in last (27 sc around) Round 3\~ 2 sc in the first st, sc in the next 9 sts, 2sc in next, sc in the next 2, 2 sc in the next, sc in the next 10 sts, 2sc in next, sc in the last 2 (31 sc around) fasten off. Using your sewing needle sew pieces together, before sewing close stuff with polyfil or catnip depending who you are making it for. Then sew the two sides of the bun together about half way.
Hot Dog
using burgundy yarn f lightly as you go, I used the end of my crochet hook to push in the stuffing Round 1\~ 6 sc into magic circle Round 2\~ sc in next 2, 2 sc in next / repeat (8 sc) Round 3-9\~ sc around (8sc) Round 10\~ sc2tog around (4sc) sl in every other st to fasten off.
