Wollkistchens Pattern
Yarn: 100g 4ply sock yarn, pref. in solid color Needle: 2.5 mm/ US size 1 Size: EU 38/39 - US 7/8 CO: 60 sts (Variations in size can be made easily by adding 1 sts to each of the purl sections at the beginning of the lace sequence.) Cuff: 1x1 rib for 10 rows This is not a “mindless knit", so be very very careful!
Lace sequence:
Row1. \*Purl3, yo, k3tog, yo, k3, yo, k2, slip1, knit 1, psso, yo, sl1,k1, psso, yo\* Repeat from Row 2. Purl the purls, knit the knits and yarnovers. Row 3. \*purl3, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2, sl1, k1, psso, yo, k2, sl1, k, psso, yo, sl1, k1, psso, yo \* Repeat from \* Row 4. Purl the purls, knit the knits and yarnovers Row 5. \*Purl 3, yo, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, k2, sl1, k1, psso, sl1 THREE times, yo\* Repeat from \* Row 6. Purl the purls, knit the knits and yarnovers. Row 15. \*Purl3, yo, k2tog, k3tog TWO times, yo,k1, yo, k2, sl1,k1, psso, yo, sl1, k1, psso, yo\* Repeat from Row 16. Purl 3, k2, k2tog, knit to end of sequence, repeat for each sequence. Repeat these 16 rows two more times. Then knit preferred heel, continue lace pattern on top of foot another three times. Knit preferred toe. And voila! A fancy schmancy Berlin sock!
