The Jasper Shawlette
The Jasper Shawlette is a top down lace shawlette. It starts with small round lace motifs and transitions into a mix of round and oval lace motifs. This then moves into only oval lace motifs before finishing off with an open border. The name Jasper came to me while knitting it - the colour of the yarn I used and the shapes of the motifs reminded me of jasper stones.
Yarn substitution:
Working the Jasper Shawlette in a heavier weight yarn will result in a larger finished shawlette.
