Mushroom cap

R1 - Make a magic ring. 6 Sc into the magic ring. Pull the ring tight. Slip stich to join. (6) R2 - chain 1, 2sc into each stich around. Slip st to join (12) R3 - Chain 1, \*1sc into 1st st, 2sc into the next st\* around. Slip stitch to join (18) R4 - Chain 1, sc around. Slip st to join (18) R5 - Chain 1, \*1sc into the 1st and 2nd st, 2sc into the 3rd\* around. Slip st to join. (24) R6 to 9 - Chain 1, sc around. Slip st to join. (24) R10 - chain 1, \*sc2tog, sc into the next st\* around. Slip st to join(16) R11 - chain 1, \*sc2tog\* around. Slip st to join (8) Tie off, leaving a long tail

Spots

In white. Small - Make 2-3 R1 - make a magic loop, sc 6 st into the loop, pull tight, slip st to join (6) Tie off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Large - make 1-2 R1 - make a magic loop, sc 6 st into the loop, pull tight, slip st to join (6) R2 - 2sc into each stitch around. Slip st to join (12) Tie off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew your spots onto the cap at random intervals, but try to keep them to the upper part of the cap. Make sure any knots or ends are inside the cap. Stuff the cap, and then using the cap tail, shape the cap by pulling the cap

Stalk

R1 - In white, make a magic loop, sc 6 st into the loop, pulltight, slip st to join (6) R2 - 2sc into each stitch around. Slip st to join (12) R3-7 - sc into each st around, slip st to join (12) Tie off leaving a long tail for sewing. Add your safety eyes to your stalk between R4 and R5 with about 2 st in between. Stuff your stalk and then sew to the bottom of the cap. Tie securely, and then pass the remaining thread through the stalk from top to bottom, and then from the bottom out the top of the cap. Pull it a bit too tight, then cut close to the cap, so the end disappears back into the cap. Viola! One adorable Mini Mario Mushroom!
