32 (a knitedwre racelet)

32 is a bracelet I designed for my friend Ann who was turning 32 and I needed a one-ofa-kind gift. Even though I'm inexperienced at knitting with wire, the entire bracelet only took me about 3 hours from design through completion. It went over well among my knitting group friends...and I think Ann liked it.
Materials:
Approx. 48 beads (Shown using a Czech Glass Mix) 28 gauge beading wire 1 lobster clasp \* Wire cutters \*Size 7us kniting needles Begin: To start, string 48 beads onto the beading wire. Actual number of beads needed depends on the length you are making (see note at the end).
Bracelet Body:
Cast on 5 Stitches, leaving a 6 inch tail of wire. (l used a half hitch cast on) Rows 1-3: K Row 4: K1, \*slip 1 bead up to just before the next stitch, $\mathsf{K}1^{\star}$ Repeat from \* across (4 beads placed) Row 5: K Row 6-11: Repeat rows 4 and 5. (End here on your last pattern repeat) Row 12-13: K Repeat this pattern until desired length. I repeated it 3 times. Finishing: Knit 3 rows. Bind off leaving a 6 inch tail of wire. Attach the lobster clasp to one end in the center of the cuff using the tail of wire. (Weave the wire end through the edge to get to the center.) At the other end, weave the tail through the edge to the center of the cuff. Form a loop for the clasp to attach to. Increase or decrease by 2 stitches at cast on to widen or make narrower. Every extra 2 stitches would add a bead per beaded row. More beads would be needed to complete.
