OWLCAPELETSHAWL by Becky McKinnon

This pattern doesn't follow typical shawl construction. Knit from the bottom up, all shaping is created using SSKs and K2togs, giving the shawl a wing-like shape. It was created as a quick and easy response to my daughter's request for a shawl of her own. The small shawl fits my preschooler, while the larger fits a teen or adult. The change in size was achieved by changing yarn weight and needle size.
