Foot:
Start knitting the pattern part, knitting the pattern on one needle, this will be the instep, and knit stiches on the other needle, this will be the sole. Work in pattern until sock measures 11 cms less than the length of your foot.

Gusset increrases:
Knit instep in pattern, knit sole: Row 1: k1, kfb, k to last to sts on needle, kfb, k1. Row 2: k instep in pattern, k sole sts. Repeat these rows 16 times, until you have 70 sts on needle two, end with row one.
Heel shaping:
K needle 1 in pattern, on needle 2: k16, pm, k37, w+t, pm, sl marker and wrapped st, p36,w+t. Knit now between the two markers like this: Row 1: slip wrapped st, k to 1 st before the last wrapped st, w+t. Row 2: slip wrapped st, p to 1 st before the last wrapped st, w+t. Repeat these rows until you have 12 wrapped sts on each side of 14 sts, which are not wrapped. K now all sts all the way to the second marker, on the wrapped sts you pick up the wrap and k with the st, remove marker. Turn and sl the first st, purl to the first marker, pick up the wraps on the wrapped sts and purl with the st, remove marker. Turn work: Row 1: sl 1, \*k1, sl1\* repeat \*-\* 17 times, ssk, turn. Row 2: sl 1, purl 36 sts, p2tog, turn. Repeat these two rows until you have 38 sts on needle 2. Turn work. Slip first st, k the rest of the sts on needle 2. Leg: Row 1: knit zig zag pattern on both needles. Row 2: knit all sts. Repeat these two rows until desired length, end with row 2. Continue in ribbing \*k1, p1\*, for 4cm.
