Skill Level:

Beginner/lntermediate: Must know knit and purl and knitting in the round on circular needles Size: Two sizes. First size is to just wrap once. second size is to wrap twice- numbers in (). Can easily be changed with different yarns and stitch counts(change in multiples of 2) Cowl: 6 inches tall by 20 (36) inches wide before stretched

Gauge:

2 stitches by 4 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch although gauge is not important for this pattern. Pattern Notes: K - Knit; P- Purl; 1 skein Berroco Borealis (100 grams; 108 yards; 12 stitches=4 inches) Stitch markers if desired US size 13 24inch circular needles. Tapestry needle to finish up ends.

Cast on:

Cast on 48, (80) stitches using long tail cast-on or cast on of choice. Join for working in the round and place marker to mark beginning of the round. Body: Rows 1-4: \*K2, P2\* across. Rows 5-8: Knit all Rows 9-12: \*P2, K2\* across Rows 13-16: Knit all Rows 17-20: \*K2, P2\* across Rows 21-24: Knit across Rows 25-27: \*P2, K2\* across

Bind off:

Row 28: \*P2, K2\* across; Bind off in the process. Cut yarn and weave in ends.
