Knit in rounds.
Houndstooth pattern
The pattern is a repetition of 3 stitches and 4 rounds in two colors: Rounds 1: with color A = light green \*k2, slip one stitch with thread in front, repeat from \* Rounds 2: with color A purl Rounds 3: with color B = dark brown \*slip one stitch with thread in front, k2, repeat between\* Rounds 4: purl with color B
Cap
The cap is knitted inside out in rounds. Cast on 6 stitches with needle 4 mm and color B Raisin. Row 1: knit Row 2: double the stitches - kl kitbl in every stitch = 12 stitches Row 3: close to round and knit Round 4 and 5: knit Round 6: increase again like in row 2 = 24 stitches Rounds 7 - 12: knit Round 13: repeat round 6 = 48 stitches Rounds 14 - 25: knit Round 26: increase like in round 6 = 96 stitches Rounds 27 - 50: knit Round 51: take second needle and put all back loops of the stitches of round 47 on it. Knit these loops together with the corresponding stitch of round 51 to create the pin-tuck. Round 52: knit with color B Raisin. Round 53: start the houndstooth pattern as described above with color A Lichen. Rounds 54 - 85: work 8 times rounds 1-4 of houndstooth pattern as described above. Rounds 86-89: knit in color B Raisin. Round 90: repeat round 51 taking the back loops of round 86. Round 91: cast off loosely.
Finishing:
Thread in the yarn, wash and block.
