# Samwise Bellissimo
A quick and easy pattern makes this cute baby sweater perfect for cold winter days or knit in a cotton blend on a rainy summer day.
Materials:
2 skeins of sms select extra soft merino cotton 4mm circular needle (or 22 sts = 10 cm) 4 markers for the increasing points 2 small buttons A cable needle Cast on 53 sts. Knit 2 rows k5, kfb, PM, kfb, k15, kfb, PM2, kfb, k5, kfb, PM3, kfb, k15, kfb, PM4,kfb, k! Row 4: k2, yo, k2tog, k to end of row slipping all markers. Row 5: \*k to 1 st before M, kfb, slip M, kfb\* repeat 2 times, k to end Row 6: k5, purl to last 5 sts, k5 Repeat rows 5 and 6 untill 13 rows in Total Row 14: k2, yo, k2tog, k1. Purl to last 5 sts. K5 Repeat rows 5 and 6 untill 18 rows in Total Row 19: put the last 5 sts on a cable needle and hold in back of the first 5 sts (buttonhole band). Knit these 5 sts together with the sts on the cable needle. Continue in knit increasing 1 sts before and after every M, as in row 5. Row 20: knit around Row 21: as row 5 Repeat rows 20 and 21 untill 29 rows in Total Row 30: knit to first M. put the sts just worked on some scrap jarn (sleeve). Knit to 3rd M, put the sts between M2 and M3 on an other piece of scrap yarn. K to end and join the sts after M4 on the first piece of scrap yarn to form the sleeve. Body:knit in the round for 43 rows

Purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row and bind off. Sleeve: put sts from first scrap yarn back on needle (circular or dpns) Knit around untill sleeve measures ". Next round, ssk, k to 2 sts from end, k2tog Keep decreasing in the same way every " 5 times more. Knit without decreasing untill sleeve measures 4" from underarm, or desired length Sew on buttons and sew in ends Done!
