SHELL PANEL (Make 6)
Using A, chain 9. Row 1: 3dc in 6th chain from hook, ch 3, 3dc in same st (shell made), skip next 2 ch, dc in last ch; turn. Row 2: Ch 3, [3dc, ch 3, 3dc] in ch 3 space of previous row, dc in top of ch 3; turn. Repeat Row 2 for a total of 54 shells. v: Ch 3, sl st in ch 3 space of previous row, ch 3, sl st in top of ch 3. Fasten 0 Using B, begin on one long side of shell strip (this will be the RS), ch 3, \*3dc in dc space, repeat from \* to end, dc in last ch space. (161 dc) Fasten off. Repeat on other side (RS). STRIPE PANEL (Make 7)
Using B, chain 155. Row 1: Dc in 4th chain from hook, and dc in each chain stitch to end; turn. (153 dc) (RS) 1, skip first dc, \*dc in next dc, sl st in next dc, repeat from \* to end; turn. (W Row 3: Ch 3, skip first st, dc in each dc and sl st across. Fasten off. (RS) Using A, and RS facing on long edge, ch 3, skip first dc, \*FPTR in next dc, dc in next dc, repeat from \* to end.Fasten off. Repeat on other side (RS). Fasten off
JOIN PANELS
Take one stripe panel and shell panel, place together with wrong sides facing each other, stripe panel in front. You may need to use markers to slightly stretch stripe panel to fit shell panel. Using A, join yarn with a sl st in back loops of both panels, beginning on the LEFT side, ch 1, work in Rev sc with each back loop of green stripe, easing in shell panel to fit. Fasten off.

Continue to join each stripe panel and shell panel for a total of 6 pairs. Then join pairs together, remembering to keep stripe panel in front to work the rev sc. Join last stripe panel at the end of shell panel of blanket, so there is a stripe panel at each end of the blanket.

Round 1: Using B, join yarn with a sl st in corner on short edge of blanket.
