Instructions

; piece is worked flat until joining in the round for crown shaping decreases Cast on 64 stitches. Work in K2 P2 ribbing for 2". Next Row (wrong side): Increase by \*P8, m1, repeat from \* to end,72 stitches. Work in pattern (next page) for 40 Rows. Join to work in the round. Round 41: \*K7, ssk, p1, k2tog, repeat from \* to end. Round 42: knit, purling stitches as in previous row Round 43: \*k6, ssk, p1, k2 tog, repeat to tend of round. Continue working decreases in the same manner for two more rounds, switching to double pointed needles if/when necessary. Round 46: ssk, k2tog for entire round. Cut yarn, thread through remaining stitches and pull tightly. Bring tail of yarn to inside of hat. Sew seam. Weave in ends.Block and enjoy!
