Turn ( Total 39 sts) R3 : Knit R4 : K2, M1, K16, M1, K3, M1, K16, M1, K2. Turn ( Total 43 sts) R5 : Knit R6 : K3, M1, K16, M1, K5, M1, K16, M1, K3. Turn (Total 47 sts) R7 : Knit R8 :K4, M1, K16, M1, K7, M1, K16, M1, K4. Turn (Total 51 sts) R9 : Purl R10: Knit R11: Purl R12: K17, ssk 4 x, K1, k2tog 4 kali, K17. Turn ( Total 43 sts ) R13 : Purl R14 : Knit 17, ssk 2 kali, K1, k2tog 2 kali,K17. Turn (Total 39 sts ) R15 : Knit R16 : Knit 9, BO 7 sts, K7, B0 7 sts ( last BO is the first st from k9) Knit 9. At R16 we have 3 part : You can use a stich holder for place part 2 and 3 Part 1 : K9 for right side Part 2 : K7 for center strap Part 3 : K9 for left side Part 1 : R 17-19 : K9. Turn. BO. Part 2 : R 17 : K 7. Turn R18 : Ssk, K3, k2 tog. Turn R 19 : Knit R 20 : Ssk, K1, K2 tog. Turn R21- 43 : Knit. BO Part 3 Ri7 : From First BO at the other side you start to make CO 12 sts (for strap). Turn. R18 : K21 ( From CO 12 sts till K9 at right side). R19 : K 17, k2 tog, yo, K2. ( To make a loop for a button ).Turn R21 : K 21. BO. Note : If you start the right booties with Part 3 as a horizontal strap ( long ), so you have to make the left booties with Part 3 as Part I ( vice versa Part 1 and 3) for a horizontal strap. Joining: With seam stich joining together the foot step ( middle ) and back step. BO. Put the vertical strap around the horizontal strap. Sew at WS. Sew a button at each side of your booties.
