Fold hat in half lengthwise, the fold is the top of the hat. \*ch1, sl st through both thicknesses evenly up the side, fasten off.\* Attach with sl st on other side and repeat from \* to \*. Weave in all ends. Turn hat right side out. All sizes brim - use I hook for brim. Round 1 - with bottom of hat up, attach with a sc in the middle edge of the hat, sc in ea around, join with a sl st to 1st sc. Round 2 - ch 1, sc in same sp and ea around, join with sl st to 1st sc Repeat round 2, 2 times, fasten off, weave in ends.
Pompom for small sizes up to toddler
make 2 with 3 strands of yarn, wrap around 4 fingers 30 times. Carefully slip off of fingers and with a piece of yarn 12" long tie tightly around the middle. Clip all the loops, and shape. Attach to each corner of the hat, weave in ends. Pompom for sizes 3-10yrs thru large adult with 3 strands of yarn, wrap around 4 fingers 40-50 times. Carefully slip off of fingers and with a piece of yarn 12" long tie tightly around the middle. Clip all the loops, and shape. Attach to each corner of the hat, weave in ends.
