Materials
8 ply or DK yarn is recommended, you will need a very small amount, this is great to use up_ scraps of yarn If using 8 ply, a 4mm hook is recommended
Size
The size of the hook will determine the size of the finished flower. If using 8 ply, the flower will measure about 3 inches across at the widestpoint.
Gauge
Gauge is not important for this flower, as long as its consistent throughout the project.
Colours
Be inspired by images of real flowers from nature. If adding the optional stamen, they look best in a contrast colour like white, yellow or pale pink, or even red. Be creative with the colours you choose!
