Tori Vest Pattern: A Luxurious Knit Vest with Silk Gauze Inspiration by Connie Chang Chinchio

TORI VEST

This design was inspired by, of all things, a photo of Tori Spelling in a low cut camisole edged with silk gauze. My warm weather interpretation of it is a vest in two luxurious Rowan staples - Cashsoft DK and Kidsilk Haze. Worked in closely matched colors, the body of the vest is composed of Cashsoft DK while the neck is framed by overlapping panels of delicate, slightly luminescent Kidsilk Haze. Two panels of Kidsilk Haze also skim the hem of the vest and are left open as side vents. In the colder months, this vest can be worn over a turtleneck or fitted blouse, and in warmer times, it can be worn alone as a tank.
