With MC cast on 72 stitches (sts) loosely (or use a needle 1-2 sizes larger than needle used to get gauge). Place a marker for the beginning of the round. Join in the round being careful not to twist sts. Knit 5 rounds. Next round, join CC, twist CC around MC to avoid a gap from changing yarns. Purl 3 rounds, always twisting CC and MC at beginning of a new round. Repeat that sequence for a total of 11 times: Knit 5 rounds with MC. Purl 3 rounds with CC. Always twisting CC and MC at beginning of a new round to avoid a gap from changing yarns. Knit 5 more rounds with MC. Bind off loosely (or use a needle 1-2 sizes larger than needle used to get gauge). Weave in ends. Stay warm!
