Abbreviations:

KKnit. KFB Knit into front and back of stitch. M1 Make a stitch by picking up the bar in front of the next stitch, slipping it on the left needle, and working into the back of the loop. SSK Slip 1 knitwise, slip 1 purlwise, put back on left needle and knit the 2 stitches together. Ch Chain DC Double crochet Cast on 8 stitches in a circle using the Emily Ocker cast on method. Round 1: KFB in all stitches (16 stitches) Rounds 2, 4, 6, 8, 10: K Round 3: \*K1, M1, K1\* repeat to end (24 stitches) Round 5: \*K2, M1, K1\* repeat to end (32 stitches) Round 7: \*K3, M1, K1\* repeat to end (40 stitches) Round 9: \*K4, M1, K1\* repeat to end (48 stitches) Rounds 12 - 21: K Round 22: \*K4, SSK\* repeat to end (40 stitches) Rounds 23 - 25: K Round 26: \*K3, SSK repeat to end (32 stitches) Round 27; \*K2 brown. K4 white, K2 brown\* repeat to end Round 28: K2 brown, then switch to white. Round 29: \*K2 SSK\* repeat to end (24 stitches) Round 30: SSK all round (12 stitches) At this point, turn the pudding inside out, tighten the cast on circle and fasten off all ends. Turn back the right way out and stuff with fibrefill or cotton wool. Round 31: \*S1, K2 top, PSSO\* repeat to end (4 st). Holly (crochet)

Ig green yarn, \*Ch3, DC into 2"d & 3rd chains\*, repeat 2 more times, fasten off end Take a piece of red yarn and thread a tapestry needle. Make 2 holly berries using French knots. Use the yarn ends to fasten the holly to the top of the pudding. If you wish to hang the pudding make a crochet chain and form a loop, Attach to the top of the pudding behind the holly.
