Quintet

A super simple narrow scarf which can be made in any yarn but in this case I wanted a light scarf to take me through to spring. It's never really warm in this country....

Scarf
FINISHED SIZE
This version measured \~140cm (60inches) by 10cm (4inches). To increase the width add multiples of 12 to the foundation chain and add an extra pattern repeat on either side of the central pillar. For this pattern the turning chain counts as the first stitch.
HOOK AND YARN
3.00m hook and Araucania Lonco Multy (4-ply/fingering weight 100% cotton) was used throughout. I used approx 1 skein.
Abbreviations (American)
Ch chain DC double crochet TR treble crochet Slst slip stitch
British equivalent
chain treble crochet double treble crochet slip stitch
PATTERN
1. Ch30, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc next ch, (ch2, tr same ch as last dc, skip 3ch, dc in next 3ch) twice, (skip 3ch, {tr, ch2, dc} in next ch, dc next 2ch) twice. 2. FINISHING
Fasten off and weave in ends. Like so many things if you have used natural fibres as I have here then blocking definitely helps. Finally please post a picture and comments if you can on your Ravelry page. I'd love to know how you get on.
