Pattern illustration

A cuddly Cowl, to have fun outside on cold days! The cable is inspired by Celtic knots. It's easy and fast knitted. I worked in more than one Colour, but you can knit it also completely uni - coloured!

Materials:

Needlesize: 5,0 - 6,5 mm depending on the Yarn 1 Crochet Hook in Needle size 1 set of dpns or 1 - 2 circs 1 stitch Marker approx. 150 m of Aran weighted (10 - ply) Yarn 1 Tapestry Needle 1Row counter or a piece of yarn in contrasting colour to count the rows (every 1o" Round slip the thread around the first stitch on needle 1) 1 Cableneedle

Yarn:

In example used: Zitron Gobi - yardage approx.. 80 m / 50 g Colour: Black, light blue, dark blue Yardage used: approx. 75 g = approx. 120 m

Finished measurements:

In example used Needlesize 6,0 mm Height: approx. 23 cm circumference: approx. 25 cm (unstretched)

Cast on:

Cast on 89 stitches with crochet hook In the next row slip first stitch knit wise, knit 1 row and divide all stitches evenly on 4 dpns or 2 circs, knit last stitch with first (slipped) stitch together to join in the round (be careful not to twist the work), 88 stitches should be remaining! Now start with R 1 of Chart! The Chart is worked twice every Round! If you want the Cables only on the front, be aware that, 1. the beginning of the Round is in the middle of the back (marked with the stitch marker) 2. the cowl will be wider and you need to cast on fewer stitches! then repeat the R 6 - 15 as often as needed to reach the desired height minus approx. 2 cm now work the R 16 - 20 one time.

Dear knitter, because my English is out of the school, it is not very good, I try my best to translate my German patterns for the English speaking community on Ravelry. If you find any errors, orif you have any questions about the pattern, or if it is not understandable, please feel free to contact me over PM on Ravelry (my user name is cdknuddel ) so that I could learn and correct my errors! Thanks in advance for your help! Greets Claudia
