Drop Stitch Hat with Button-On Ear Flaps

This hat pattern was inspired by and designed to match Christine Vogel's Easy Drop Stitch Scarf. It is a basic pull-on style hat but it includes directions for button-on ear flaps for when that winter chill ups the ante. This hat is knit in the round and the optional ear flaps are knit flat. It is knit at a larger gauge than is recommended by the yarn to give it a lacier effect. Skills used are knitting in the round, k2tog, yo and psso. Difficulty: Advanced-Beginner. Head circumference: 22" Finished measurement: 20"
