Right bootie

REMEMBER to slip the first st off the left needle knitwise to your right needle of every row and purl the last one when knitting in flat for ALl rows of the sole. CO 8 (10) sts R1-2: sl1, knit all sts to the last st, p1 R3: sl1, kfb, k4 (6), kfb, p1 R4: sl1, knit all sts to the last st, p1 R5: sl1, kfb, k6 (8), kfb, p1 R6-32 (6-36): sl1, knit all sts to the last st, p1 R33 (37): sl1, ssk, k6 (8), k2tog, p1 R34 (38): sl1, knit all sts to the last st, p1 R35 (39): sl1, ssk, k4(6), k2tog, p1 R36 (40): sl1, knit all sts to the last st, p1, now you have 8 (10) sts again on your needles.

Making the "Dino" edge

When you finish the last 36 (40) row of your sole, take dpns and going around the rectangle pick up sts from the edge from both the front and back loops for each stitch, you will have in the end 8 (10), 16 (20), 8 (10), 16 (20) stitches on your 4 needles. Take a needle and put in under your edge loops - both front and back. Weave the yarn over the needle.

Insert your needle under the next pair of edge loops. Pull the yarn through the hole under both loops - you have your first stitch of 1st row for Dino edge. Weave the yarn over the needle. Pull the yarn through the hole under both loops and receive the 2nd stitch. Continue picking up the stitches. Check your wrong side, it should look like the one on this picture. After you finish with picking up stitches and will have 8 (10), 16 (20), 8 (10), 16 (20) stitches on your needles, knit all sts in first 2 rounds, in third round knit \*ssk, yo\* to the end, rounds 4th, 5th and 6th - knit all Ssts.

Take a crochet hook and put it under the 1st stitch in your 1st round of st st under your left needle. This is the hole under front and back edge loops from which you picked up stitches for Dino edge earlier.

REMEMBER to slip the first st off the left needle to your right needle of every row and knit the last one when knitting in flat in ALL rows.

R21: sl1, k4, p 8 (10), knit rem sts R22: sl1, knit all sts R23: sl1, k4, p 8 (10), knit rem sts R24: sl1, k19 (k25), C2R, C2L (C2R, k2, C2L), k5 R25: sl1, k1, bind off 2 sts (buttonhole), knit rem sts R26: sl1, knit all sts, make 2 sts over the bound offsts in 25th row (buttonhole) R27-30: sl1, knit all sts R31: cast off and weave in ends.
