Observations:
This slipper was based on a slipper with those same colors found on the net. The slipper is executed in spiral turns, so you do not need to close every turn with slip stitch. The direction of execution is the tip to the heel. No need for sewing except eyes, beak and flower. The slipper is all performed in one piece.
