dc2tog - \*Yo, insert hook in next st, yo & pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook\* x 2, yo, pull through all 3 lps on hook. hdc2tog - \*Yo, insert hook in next st, yo & pull up a loop\* x 2, yo, pull through all 5 1oops on hook.
Pattern Notes
\* Strap may need to be altered depending on size of baby's foot, to do this simply add more chains for a longer strap and less chains for a smaller strap. Sole Rnd 1. Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in last ch, (working on opposite side) hdc in next 8 ch, 2 hdc in last ch, sl st to 1st hdc. (22sts) Rnd 2. Ch 2 (counts as a st here and throughout), hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts, sl st to top of ch-2. (28sts) Rnd 3. Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 9 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 6 sts, hdc in next 9 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts, slst to ch-2. (38sts) Upper Rnd 4. Ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to ch-2. (38sts) Rnd 5. Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, dc2tog 10 times, hdc in last 7 sts, sl st to ch-2. Rnd 6. Strap
Sc next st, ch 14, sc in 9"h ch from hook and ea remaining 5 ch, then sc in same st as initial sc of strap.
Flower Button
Ch 3, sl st to form a ring. \*Ch 1, dc, ch 1, sl st\* 5 times into ring (five petals made).
Finishing
Attach flower button to opposite side of strap.
