You will need...
Orange yarn (l used red heart super saver in carrot) Green yarn (l used red heart super saver in paddy green) Fiberfill stuffing Cat nip (optional) Yarnneedle Size d 3.25 mm crochet hook (or the hook of your choice) Stitch markers (optional)

Pumpkin
Round 1 \~ Using a magic ring (or chain 2 if you prefer) place 6 sc into the magic ring or into the 2nd chain on the hook Round 2 \~ inc around (12 sc) Round 3 \~ sc in the next st, inc / repeat around (18 sc) Round 4 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, inc / repeat around (24 sc) Round 5 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, inc / repeat around (30 sc) Rounds 6-12 \~ sc around Round 13 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, dec/ repeat around (24 sc) Round 14 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, dec/ repeat around (18 sc) Round 15 \~ sc in the next st, dec/ repeat around (12 sc) Now it is time to stuff your pumpkin if you haven't started already, if you are making this for a cat you want to sprinkle in some catnip. Round 16 \~ dec around (6 sc) Sl in every other st and fasten off. WithGREENYARN and your yarn needle Sew through the middle of the pumpkin and then around the pumpkin to give the pumpkin ribs, be sure to do this VERY tightly to be more defined.
