JAKE THE DOG by Adventure Time
An Amination pattern
Before you start
This pattern contains the necessary instructions to crochet Jake the dog from the animated series Adventure Time. Gauge is not important in this project. This pattern refers to crocheting on the back loops. You'll be instructed to crochet first all the smaller pieces (arms, legs, snout, eyes etc). You'll then start crocheting the head-body and attach these elements as you go.

Material list
250m (275 yards) DK or worsted weight (8-10ply) yarn in YELLOW ?14m (15 yards) DK or worsted weight (8-10ply) yarn in BLACK 10m (11 yards) DK or worsted weight (8-10ply) yarn in WHITE 8-10 handfuls of polyester stuffing

Skills required
This pattern is of intermediate-to-easy difficulty. In order to crochet Jake, you'll need to knowhowto: Start your piece with a magic ring or sloppy slip knot Single crochet (increase and decrease) Finish off your piece with tail Attach (sew) pieces together

Then embroider the large circles on the head-body at rounds 14-24, leaving a gap of 6-7 st between them. With a piece of yellow yarn sew the snout in-between the eyes. Attach the nose at rounds 7-8 of the snout.
Attach the ears at round 17 of the head-body, at the side of each eye. Attach the arms lower at rounds 22-23 of the body. Attach the tail at rounds 39-43 at the back. Resume crocheting: Rnd 48. [sc2tog, sc2tog, sc next 10 st] \* 6 times (72 st) Rnd 49. [sc2tog, sc2tog, sc next 8 st] \* 6 times (60 st) Rnd 50. [sc2tog, sc2tog, sc next 6 st] \* 6 times (48 st) Stuff body Rnd 51.
