Delecate Angel Wings

a Small amount of worsted weight yarn a Hook size H Darning needle a Scissors
By: Danielle Card Published: June 2013 Last Edited: June 2013 These wings are made for smaller 4" dolls, but can be the perfect addition to any size angel. This pattern is written for both angel wings (with just one section on each side - shown in picture), and fairy wings (with 2 sections on each side). They work up very quickly so you can make both and try them on your doll, bear or other animal.

Ch: Chain a Dc: Double crochet a Dtr: Double treble crochet a F/O: Finish off a Hdc: Half double crochet a Hk: Hook a Slst: Slip stitch a Sp: Space a St: Stitch a Ir: Treble crochet (aka. Triple crochet) a Trtr: Triple treble crochet Tr (Treble crochet): YO 2 times, insert hk into sp or st indicated, YO. draw up a Ip, (YO, draw through 2 Ips on hk) 3 times. Dtr (Double treble crochet): YO 3 times, insert hk into sp or st indicated, YO, draw up a Ip, (YO, draw through 2 Ips on hk) 4 times. Trtr (Triple treble crochet): YO 4 times, insert hk into sp or st indicated, YO, draw up a Ip, (YO, draw through 2 Ips on hk) 5 times.

| Ch2, leaving first ch very large (or loose) since all sts will be worked into this ch. (Hdc, dc, tr, dtr, trtr) into 2nd ch (referred to as beg ch from here on out) - make sure you work over o oy ' a ' y o P oy ' (Trtr, dtr, tr, dc, hdc) into beg ch. Ch1, slst into beg ch. F/O & pull yarn "tail" tightly to close center hole. |

| The wings are worked as one complete piece; the instructions are broken into linesto simplify. 'aisui pua aut io t, uns lnd lon op :ua aut ot sum abun aut lo, s awos aut om continue working into the beg ch to make 2 more segments to the wings.
