PATTERN NOTES

The shawl can be adapted to your own favorite size. You knit as long as you reached your prefered size. In every row you will increase on the outer edge and in every third rown on the center axis additionally. The result is an obtuse triangle. ABBREVIATIONS

SET UP ROWS

Cast on 5 st Row 1: k1, yo k1, yo, pm, K1, pm , yo, k1, yo, k1 Row 2: k1, yo, k until last st, yo, k1 Row 3: k1, yo, k until last st, yo, k1 Row 4: k1, yo, k until marker, yo, sm, k1, sm, yo, k until last st, yo, k1 Repeat rows 2 - 4 until you reached your prefered size. Note: Thread for bind-off must have a length of 3x bind-off edge.

BIND-OFF

Zig-Zag-elastic bind-off: Slip first st, \*Kf&b (stop after knit in front st, slip the 1. st over 2. st on right hand needle, now knit in back), slip 1. st over 2. st on right hand needle\* , repeat from \* until you have bound-off all st. BLOCKING

Put your shawl in the basin and leave for 5 minutes. Take it out and place in a towel to remove excess water. Use some T-pins and foam board to stretch out your shawl.

FINISHING

Weave in ends.
