CABLE DRAWSTRING BAG
By Christie Pruitt

Materials
4 skeins \*Jaeger Roma (l used color #004) "G" crochet hook Fabric for lining (optional)
Gauge
16 sts x 15 rows to 4" in pattern (not critical for this project)
Note
\*Jaeger Roma has been discontinued. I've had this yarn in my stash for a while and wanted to use it for something. Any weight yarn will work for this pattern. Roma does have some stretch due to its elastic content - so a yarn with elastic would work best, but isn't necessary.
Stitches Used
FPTR (Front Post Treble): Yarn over needle 2 times, insert hook into indicated stitch, \*draw up a loop and draw through 2 loops. Repeat from \* 2 more times. FPTR made.
Cable Pattern
Rnd 1: \*FPTR around next dc, skip next dc, FPTR in next 2 dc, work FPTR in skipped dc working in front of FPTR's just made, FPTR in next dc. Work 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc's. Repeat from \* around. Join in top of first FPTR with a slip stitch. Rnd 2: Ch 1. Sc in same stitch as Ch 1, work sc around. (104 sc) Repeat these 2 rows for cable pattern
