With black crochet thread and tapestry needle, sew one straight stitch vertically over the widest point of each spindle forming slitty pupil of eye as shown in photo and diagram below. Ears: With orchid pink crochet thread and tapestry needle, sew 2 straight stitches horizontally across each folded ear shape as shown in photo and diagram below. Nose: With orchid pink crochet thread and tapestry needle, sew a loose straight stitch from the inside corner of one eye to the inside corner of the other eye, tack that stitch with a very small straight stitch at a point between and below the eyes, forming a "V' for the cat's nose as shown in photo and diagram below.
Mouth:
With orchid pink crochet thread and tapestry needle, sew a loose straight stitch from the point one row beneath that for the start of the nose to the corresponding point beneath the other end of the nose, tack that stitch with a very small straight stitch at the same tack point for the nose forming an inverted “V” for the cat's mouth as shown in photo and diagram below.
