Beaded Butterfly Towel Edging Designed by Lilia Crouch

Materials:
Bright White Classic Traditions Towel 16x26 White #10 size breadspread weight crochet thread Size 7 & 14 hooks 32 Clear E beads 16 - 1cm Multi colored butterfly beads 1.Insert hook through first stitches of towel's designed edge. S1 st on to towel, \*ch 3, sk next stitches in towels design, sc in next stitches.

\*Repeat across. (32 3ch spaces) 2. sl st into ch 3 sp, ch 4, (tr ,ch 3, 2 tr) into same sp. \*(2 tr, ch3, 2 tr) into next sp. Repeat Across. 3. Sl st into first 2 tr and ch 3 sp, ch 4, \*add E bead, butterfly bead, E bead onto thread, adjust thread to length of the three beads added. Insert size 14 size hook or smaller into top of butterfly bead, but not into the E bead at the bottom of the butterfly. Hook on thread loop and pull through butterfly bead. Adjust thread again as needed for a tight fit. Insert hook into E bead at the top of butterfly, hook on thread loop and pull through E bead. Adjust thread for tight fit. 4. Ch 4, sc into next ch 3 sp, ch 8, sc into 4" ch from hook, ch 4, sc into next sp, ch 4. \*Repeat Across. Sl st into last 2 tr.
