Materials
This knits up nicely either loose and lacy or close and warm. Gauge not important. As a guide, the example used: 450m of light fingering yarn on4.5mmneedles for a scarf about 2.5m long with 12 increase and 12 decrease sections
Notes
Knitted on the bias [zigzag]. Uses short rows, increases, decreases, yarn overs and a fancy cast off. Surprisingly easy and fast to knit. kfb = knit into the front and then the back of the stitch to increase by 1 yo = yarn over to increaseby 1 k2tog = knit 2 stitches together to decrease by 1 p2tog = purl 2 stitches together to decrease by 1 [p1. sl2 to L needle. p2tog] x 5 = purl 1. slip both stitches back onto left hand needle. purl them together. repeat for a total of 5 times
