Crocheted Aeroplane

This pattern uses UK terminology. Using a 3mm hook and 4ply yarn you create a plane that is roughly 21cm/8" long and 29cm/l1" wide. However this pattern should work for any weight of yarn as long as you use the equivalent hook size. Key: dc: double chain ch: chain st: stitch

Propeller:
Foundation row: Ch 23. Row 1: 1 dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc into each of next 21 sts, ch 1, turn. (22 sts) Row 2 to 5: 1 dc into each st, ch 1, turn. Row 6: 1 dc into each stitch. Bind off. Fold in half length ways, and sew together. Then stitch to the nose of the plane and add a button in the centre front of the propeller.
