Fog City Wrap Pattern: A Reversible Cabled Worsted Weight Yarn Project by Daisy Yarns

Fog City Wrap (A Sophisticated Wrap) Created by Patty Thomas of Daisy Yarns of San Francisco for individual use (not to be copied or published without permission, www.daisyyarns.com),2008. Border of 5 seed stitches, Reversable cables on each side (with garter stitch dividers) plus a simple stockinette & reverse stockinette pattern in the middle.

Materials:

Worsted to Heavy Weight Yarn 4 skeins, Size 9 Needle, One Large Cable Hook, One Stitch Counter, Stitch Markers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 3 HANKS OF O-WOOL CLASSIC YARN. AS THE DESIGNER OF THIS PATTERN THAT'S MY NEW RECOMMENDATION.

Using Cable Caste On and Set Up Rows 1 & 2:

A. Cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 8 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 8 place marker, cast on 2 place marker, cast on 5 place marker, for a total of 67 stitches. B. ROW 1: (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1), K2, (K2, P2, K2, P2), K9, P5, K9, P5, K9, (K2, P2, K2, P2), K2, (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1) C. ROW 2: (K1,P1, K1, P1, K1), K2, (P2, K2, P2, K2), K2, P5, K9, P5, K9, P5, K2, (P2, K2, P2, K2), K2, (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1) Rows 1-10 make up the pattern. Use a Stitch Counter and set it to 1, after each click to next higher number. 1. ROW 1: (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1), K2, (Cable 8 Reverse Style: put 4 on cable hook hold in front, from left needle K2, P2, then from cable hook K2, P2), K9 P5, K9, P5, K9 (Cable 8 Reverse Style: put 4 on cable hook hold in front, from left needle K2, P2, then from cable hook K2, P2), K2, (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1)

3. ROWS 3: (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1), K2, (K2, P2, K2, P2), K9, P5, K9, P5, K9, (K2, P2, K2, P2), K2, (K1, P1, K1, P1, K1) 4. ROW 4: ALL “EVEN NUMBERED" ROWS KNIT ROW 2 ABOVE 5. ROW 5: ALL “ODD NUMBERRED" ROWS KNIT ROW 3 ABOVE 6. ROW 6: ALL “EVEN NUMBERED" ROWS KNIT ROW 2 ABOVE 7. ROW 7: ALL "ODD NUMBERRED" ROWS KNIT ROW 3 ABOVE 8. ROW 8: ALL “EVEN NUMBERED" ROWS KNIT ROW 2 ABOVE 9. ROW 9: ALL “ODD NUMBERRED" ROWS KNIT ROW 3 ABOVE 10. ROW 10: ALL “EVEN NUMBERED" ROWS KNIT ROW 2 ABOVE · Repeat Rows 1-10 until desired length is reached · Use SET UP Rows 1 and 2 to finish. Bind off in pattern AND weave in loose ends.
