Petit Elfe
The beanie 《 PETIT ELFE 》is knit bottom-up, awd in the round. I've Used self-striping yarn and I add a tip which makes this cap a mischievous leprechaun hat! Size : for a premature baby 30 to 36 weeks, head measurements 28 to 32 cW.(11" to 12.5") Materials: inquire hospitals before choosing the yarn. Anyway. avoid hairy yarn. Fingering, or light fingering : I've used only 13gr ! Circular or DPN No 2-1/2 Us : 3mm, or the size necessary to get gauge. Yarn needle. Gauge : 8 stiches x 11 rows = 1inch.
Stiches used :
Long-Tail cast-Ow. Knit owe : K1 Knit 2 together : K2 tog.
Directions :
1) Cast-on Fo sts, using the Long-Tail cast-on.Join in the round, being careful not to twist the stitches, and knit in the round. 2) \* e1, p1 \* repeat until end of row. Work 5 rows more. 3) Then knit all rows until work measures Fcm. 4) Tip: \*K8, K2 tog\* 7 times. Knit 3 rows. \*KF, K2 tog\* times. Knit 3 rows. \*K6, K2 tog\* 7times. Knit 3 rows. \*K5, K2 tog\* 子times. Knit 3 rows. \*K4, K2 tog\* 子times. Knit 3 rows. \*K3, K2 tog\* 7times. Knit 3 rows; \*K2, K2 tog\* Ftimes. Knit 3 rows. \*K1, K2 tog\* 7 times. Knit 3 rows. \*K2 tog\* 7 times : 7sts.
