US #2 needles #10 crochet cotton thread CO 20 sts Knit 3 rows in garter st. Beginning and ending 2 st are side borders K = knit P = purl st = stitch sts = stitches cO = cast on yo = yarn over skpo = slip one knitwise, knit one, then pass the slipped stitch over the one just knitted sk2tpo = slip one knitwise, knit two together, then pass the slipped stitch over the one you just knit tog. K2tog = knit two together ssk = slip two stitches knitwise onto the right needle, then put the point of the left needle thru the front of both stitches on the right needle, and knit as one Make a special gift for those who love books!
