First three rounds are worked in red/black: Round 1: ch 3, work 11 dc into ring = 12 stitches Round 2: ch 3, 2 dc in each stitch around = 24 stitches : ch 3, work \*2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st\* = 36 stitches.
