1008. White Crochet Clutch with Pink Bow
This classy Crochet Clutch is very easy to make - just follow my free crochet pattern!You will whip it up quickly even if you are a beginner crocheter - the clutch is very simple. Use your favorite colors to compliment your outfit! The approximate size of the clutch is 9 in by 5 in (23 cm by 13 cm). Recommended weight yarn: Medium to worsted weight (weight category #4) I used Red Heart Super Saver in Soft White and Light Raspberry.
Recommended crochet hook size: I 9 (5.5 mm) to J 10 (6.00 mm) Abbreviations and stitches used in the beginner crochet pattern: CH - chain, SC - single crochet. The gauge: 13 SC in 4" (10 cm); 14 rows in 4" (10 cm).
The "body" of the crochet clutch.
Rows ## 2-43:
CH 26 Attach the pink yarn: Row #1: SC in the second from the hook stitch, SC in each stitch along the row. Turn, CH 1 and SC in each stitch along the row.The result is white rectangle. Cut off the white yarn. Rows ## 44-47: Turn, CH 1, SC in each SC along the row. At the end of the Row #47 make 2 more SC stitches in the last stitch of the row and continue SC stitches all around the white rectangle.
In each corner stitch make 3SC. The finished "body" of the crochet clutch a with pink trim.
Fold the clutch as shown and sew it at the sides.
Making a bow.
How to crochet a bow: CH 15, join in a ring with a slip stitch. Row #2: CH 2, DC in each stitch around the row, slip stitch at the end. bow in the center with a piece of pink yarn and the crochet bow is ready! :) Sew it on as shown
The clutch is almost ready! :)
The Handle.
Attach the pink yarn to the side of the clutch where the handle should be attached. CH 52 for 16 in (41 cm) long handle orhow long would you like the handle to be. Attach the chain with a slip stitch to the opposite side of the bag. Make slip stitches along the handle in the back direction, the last slip stitch make in the same place where the pink yarn was attached.
