This little costume was designed to fit onto Teddy and Friends. It is knitted in two parts; the body and the skirt.

Yarn

Any scraps of 4ply or DK yarn, it is best to use the same weight as the wool you used to knit teddy.

Needles

A set of double pointed needles (dpns); whichever size you normally use for the size of yarn you are using. In my case that is: 2 mm, UK14, US0

Arrange the 24 stitches over some dpns and continue knitting in the round. Knit 10 rounds, finishing after having knitted the 12 stitches from the front of the costume. Cast off the 12 stitches of the back. You will be left with the 12 stitches of the front, which will be knitted back and forth. Next row (27): K1, SSK, K6, K2tog, K1 Row 28: P Row 29: K1, SSK, K4, K2tog, K1 Row 30: P (6 stitches left). Now we will knit the shoulder straps.
