This is a wide-necked yoke, short sleeved, fitted top, knit from the top down in a single piece. I used 4 skeins, Lily Sugar and Cream yarn on size 7 needles. Abbreviations: KKnit PPurl M1 Make one (pick up thread between stitches and knit through the back loop) C2F Slip two stitches to a cable needle, hold cable needle in front, knit next two stitches, knit stitches off cable needle C2B Slip two stitches to cable needle, hold cable needle in back, knit next two stitches, knit stitches off cable needle. YO Yarn over PM Place Marker K2tog Knit 2 together SSK Slip Stitch Knit BO Bind off (use lace bind off) Cast on 150 stitches Place marker and join Round 1: \*K3, P2, repeating from \* around. Rounds 2-6: Repeat ribbing for 5 more rounds Round 7: \*K1, M1, K1, M1, K1, P2, repeat from \* around (210 stitches) Rounds 8-10: \*K5, P2, repeat from \* for 3 rounds Round 1l: \*K2 yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, P2, repeat from \* around (300 stitches) Round 12: \*K8, P2, repeating from \* around Round 13: \*C2F, K2, C2B, K2, P2, repeat from \* around Rounds 14-15: \*K8, P2, repeating from \* around Round 16: \*K1, P2, K2, P2, K1, P2, repeat from \* around. Repeat (-8 sts) Round 65: Work according to Pattern B (112 sts) Round 66-70: Knit Round 7l: Pattern B (104 sts) Round 72-76 : Knit Round 77: M1, K1, M1, K1, K to one before marker, M1, K1, M1, move marker, K1, M1, knit to one before marker, M1, K1 (110 sts) Round 78-102: Knit Round 103: [K3, P2] around. Round 104-114: Continue K3, P2 ribbing Round 115: BO with lace bind-off. Sleeves: Beginning at armpit edge, pick up 50 sts from yarn holder, plus 5 additional stitches (55 sts) K 4 rounds [K3,P2] for 5 rounds BOFinishing: Using 60 buttons and matching thread, sew eyes onto owls over purled sections.
