Dot Stitch in the Round

;Row 1: K1, \*P1, K3; repeat ;from \* until 2 stitches remain, P1, K1 ;Row 2 & 4: Knit all stitches iRow 3: \*K3, P1; repeat from juntil 3 stitches remain, K3 cord. Find the center stitch. Divide stitches in half by bending the cord of the needle, moving half onto one side of the needle, and half onto the other. Double check to make sure that your stitches are not twisted. Slide the stitches with the yarn attached back down onto the cable portion of the needle. Begin knitting in the Dot Stitch pattern. Work in pattern until the piece measures 5.5 inches or desired length (you can try the piece on as you go!). End with row 1 of the pattern. Thumb Hole: Instead of continuing to work in the round, you will now begin to work flat. This means that all of the knit rows of the dot stitch pattern will become purl rows with the wrong side facing you. Work 2 pattern repeats ending with row 1, then try the wrister on. If you are happy with the size of the thumb hole rejoin into the round by knitting the next round with the right side facing you. Work 2 more inches in pattern, or desired length, and bind off as normal or using the picot bind off. Picot bind off: Cast on 2 stitches using the cable cast on. Then bind off 4 stitches using the usual method. Slip the single stitch on the right needle back onto the left hand needle. Repeat this until all stitches have been bound off Finishing: Weave in ends, make the second and enjoy!
