With Green, cast on 30 stitches and join in round. Knit 1 round .
Written Instructions: Round 1: \*p2, k3, repeat from \* to end of round. Repeat round 1 for 5 rounds. Knit one round. Begin leg chart.
Knit 8 stitches from needle 1, turn. Slip 1, p14. Place remaining stitches on needle 2for instep. (15 sts for heel, 15 sts for instep)
Turn heel Row1 (Right Side): slip 1, k9, ssk, turn. Row 2: slip 1, p5, p2T, turn. Row 3: slip1, k5, ssk, turn, Repeat rows 2 and 3 until all live stitches have been used. (7 stitches remain)
Gusset:
Pick up 8 stitches along left side of heel flap. Knit across 15 instep stitches. Pick up 8 stitches from right side of heel flap and knit 3 heels stitches onto this needle. You now have 12 stitches on needle 1, 15 stitches on needle 2, and 11 stitches on needle 3. (38 stitches total) Round 1:knit. Round 2: Knit to last 3 stitches on needle 1, k2T, k1. Knit across needle 2. Needle 3, k1, ssk, knit to end of round. Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until you have 8 stitches on needle 1, 15 stitches on needle 2, 7 stitches on needle 3. (30 stitches) Continue knitting every round until sock measure 2 inches from back of heel. Begin shaping toe. Toe: Round 1: Knit to last 3 stitches on needle 1, k2T, k1. Needle 2, k1, ssk, knit to last 3 stitches, k2T, k1. Needle 3, k1, ssk, knit to end of round. Round 2:knit Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until you have 10 stitches remaining. Graft these stitches together.
